Massachusetts Rental Agreement Does The Massachusetts RMV Have Access To Maine Vehicle Registrations For Purposes Of Parking Tickets?

Does the Massachusetts RMV have access to Maine vehicle registrations for purposes of parking tickets? - massachusetts rental agreement

One of my friends has a parking ticket in the state of Massachusetts in a rental car with Maine plates and wondered what would happen if you ignore the ticket. Massachusetts' the car can be registered as follows to the leasing company in Maine?

Yes, found in Massachusetts capable of the vehicle, if they so wished. What I would do is ask the Maine DMV / RMV and contact information. Many states have reciprocity agreements on the part of Massachusetts, which might even be able to access, computer systems directly to Maine. In any case, it may take a little longer, but the determination of his ownership of the vehicle is no problem.

Massachusetts is the usual procedure when a parking ticket that was never paid to verify that the vehicle has been approved, and notify the RMV to renew your license to that person, preventing up to all appointments have been corrected.

Since I am a car, take a phone call or letter to the leasing company to determine who is the driving force. The ticketing authority may or may not be in the mood to do so, and at least conceivable that it may only post-drop rather than a little extra work.

However, interest in Massachusetts are steep, and I doubt your friend would play a HUNDREU.S. dollars or more in late fees in the event that the local PD too lazy to pursue cases.

Of course, it can be shown, and the landlord will send the ticket to her that you need a positive identification of the location.
