Nutritionist Skills How Do I Find Out If A Possible Business Name Or Slogan Is Already Trademarked?

How do I find out if a possible business name or slogan is already trademarked? - nutritionist skills

I started a website to serve as the basis for health and fitness company. I worked as a personal trainer certifications, and nutritionists, and as a lecturer and teacher. I thought a website would be a good place to combine these skills. I have the site name I wanted, and assumed that I could not get the name if it already registered as a trademark. One of my friends say that I am wrong. Before you make a lot of money to sink into the promotion and everything that I would not for one or two years followed on the road.

The creation of a domain means only that the exact domain name is available, but that does not mean that there is a trade mark or a problem with the first use of the name of his business.

To register a trademark, contact your Secretary of State for Constitutional and trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Federal Trademark.

If only one business in one state, then a mark of state is best suited. If you are active in at least 2 States or between States and other countries, you can apply for a federal trademark.

Before you invest time, money and effort into a name, we strongly recommend that further research is conducted to ensure that it is the name you want in fact, available.

This means looking and waiting for the brand and the Federal Data State Archives and the Joint United States for the files of the law. Then, when it is clear, you can decide whether to register an application for federal or state level.

I've listed some links where you can do some preliminary name checks. However, Please note that this is just the tip of the iceberg of what exists. Only a full search will tell you if the name is actually available. However, these compounds are free and are a great place to start, I'd first try.

There are other free sites, search capabilities of commercial services, I am not able to because of these links, "Yahoo! TOS. You also want to check domain names and the yellow pages, simply search for" free search domain name "and" national yellow pages and the links appear.

I hope that helps! I wish you much success and happiness in all your undertakings!

They should trade name with the Secretary of State in your state. Some states also have a works council, which is your problem, you can ask someone from the SEC. Office of the State in this matter to call if you. If you are a name that is advisable to register with the same charge to protect it from becoming taken.
